Scripture Sharing
Thursdays
7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Stewardship involves the care of our own souls even as we care for others. Naturally we must keep holy the Lord’s Day. That is, we celebrate the Liturgy every Sunday without fail. As we like to say here in our Parish, “It’s all about Sunday.”
Another important offering here is Scripture Sharing. This takes place every Thursday evening. We gather in the chapel at 7:00PM and finish at 8:00PM. We read and discuss the upcoming Sunday Scripture Readings. The session opens with a prayer, then the reading of the scriptures and discussion, then petitionary prayer and finally a blessing from Father.
Please take advantage of Scripture Sharing on Thursday evenings. Get a deeper understanding and appreciation of the Word of God.

Youth Retreat
Preparing Youth for the Sacrament of Confirmation
On Saturday and Sunday, April 20th and 21st, Youth of our parish will be presenting a retreat for youth of other parishes who will be receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation this year.
We may be filled with Joy that our Youth have the spiritual maturity to help guide others to the Lord in such a Holy way!
Pray for them on that weekend.

St. Vincent de Paul Society s
Over 4 Friday’s for the month of March, St. Vincent de Paul Society served 791 clients representing 2386 individuals. Their expenses for the month were $6185. This large amount was in a large part because each registered client received a $25 Publix gift card to help with Easter dinner, which elicited huge smiles and heartfelt “thank you’s.” They were able to do this because of the many generous donations from surrounding
parishes and several individuals.
Operation Utilities Bag
Remember, keep filling your Zip Lock Bag with Currency. The little money you save here and there each day truly adds up for the many people the Saint Vincent de Paul Society serves every week.
Mother’s Day Novena
As you know you may add your mother’s name to the list for remembrance in the Novena of Masses. In fact you may add the name of anyone who is a mother to the list. If possible, leave a donation. The donated money will go to the Respect Life Ministry of the Church. However, you do not have to leave a donation in order to add your mother’s name to the list.
Child Abuse Prevention Month
Did you know...Child abuse can occur in every culture and every socio-economic demographic. Peer reviewed research, especially that of the past 30 years, repeatedly shows this to be true. This same research indicates that the vast majority of child abuse occurs at the hands of someone known to the victim. Those who seek to do harm to children will pursue opportunities that provide access to children and may even ingratiate themselves into the home. You can protect children by respecting the safe environment protocols stablished at youth serving organizations. More importantly, you can implement many of these protocols in your home and be ever observant and vigilant in all public and private settings.
